My 2FA is not working

As Sprintax has provided the option to e-sign the W8BEN form, a Two-factor Authentication (2FA) is required. Its purpose is to provide additional security measure to protect your personal information.
Once it’s set up through your account with an authenticator app of your choice (Google or Microsoft Authenticator), your account will require the 6-digits code for every log in.

If your 2FA is not working, there could be a few reasons for that:

1. You deleted the 2FA app on your device without disconnecting your Sprintax Calculus account first.

Please be informed that once the app is connected with your account, you should not delete it before disconnecting your account. Even if you install it again and link your account once more it will not work out as you need to disconnect the account first. To reset your 2FA you will need to contact your institution directly so that they could send you a special link that will be only valid for 24 hours.

2. You switched devices.

If you switched your device you will not be able to pass the 2FA as your account would be still linked to the 2FA app you had on your previous phone/tablet.
To reset your 2FA you will need to contact your institution directly so that they could send you a special link that will be only valid for 24 hours.

Important: If the codes you're entering are invalid, if you deleted the app, if you switched devices etc. you will need to contact your institution that referred you to Sprintax Calculus and request them to provide you with a 2FA reset link which will be valid for 24 hours. Using the link, you will be able to reset the 2FA and log-in to your account/e-sign your forms.
