Two-factor authentication (2FA), sometimes referred to as two-step verification or dual-factor authentication, is a security process in which users provide two different authentication factors to verify themselves. It can be activated in your Sprintax Calculus account as an additional security measure. This is done through an authenticator app (MS or Google) on your device.
Once you set up the 2FA in your account, you should not delete the app without manually disconnecting it first. If you have lost access to the 2FA app, the only way to disconnect it and log into your Sprintax account is to ask your institution for a special link. Using the link you can disconnect the 2FA and log in without it.
